Victorian Tree Ranch is preparing to open on November 27th, 2009 for our 37th straight year. Bob and Sally Parks have owned and operated Victorian Tree Ranch since taking over management from founder, Col. Marvin Good, Sally's father, in 1992. This year Bob and Sally are delighted to announce that their oldest son, Adam Parks (Col. Good's grandson), will be taking over the operation of the farm. "We have been planning on retiring for the past few years, and had decided that 2008 would be our last year as a retail Christmas tree farm," says bob Parks. "When Adam moved his family here in February and expressed interest in continuing the tradition, we were thrilled that the farm would open yet again."
Victorian Christmas Tree Ranch sells "choose-n-cut" and pre-cut Christmas trees, stands, wreaths, garlands, gifts and ornaments. We have a farm animal display, candy canes for kids and home made pumpkin nut bread and spiced cider.
Enjoy complimentary hot cider and pumpkin-nut bread in our cozy warming hut! Lanterns are also now available for nighttime tree hunters! For your convenience, we provide saws and free tree wrapping.
Tree for Troops
Victorian Tree Ranch is donating real Christmas Trees as part of the nationwide Trees for Troops Program, sponsored by the Christmas SPIRIT Foundation and FedEx Corp. Victorian Tree Ranch is one of only 45 locations in the country that will be a drop location, and the only one in the greater Bay Area. Victorian Tree Ranch was founded in 1972 by recently retired Air Force Colonel Marvin H. Good, grandfather of current farm manager, Adam Parks.
"As the family of an Air Force colonel, we are thrilled to be such an integral part of Tree for Troops. We have procured really beautiful trees from our grower in Oregon, and our customers will have the opportunity to donate a 5-8' Noble Fir for about $25 through the program," says Adam.

Ranch History
Victorian Christmas Tree Ranch has operated for 50-plus years,
and has been owned by Bob and Sally Parks and their family since
1990. Before that, Sally's parents, Marv and Jeanne Good owned and
ran the ranch, which they purchased in 1963 from the Arnet family. The property was one of the first to plant Christmas trees in West Sonoma County in the late 1940's.
